History
Spa Jeseník its existence and popularity is thanks for Vincenz Priessnitz, founder of hydrotherapy, who in 1822 founded the first Gräfenberg Institute of the water treatment. 17 years old Vincenz fell in the field work of the car loaded with grain. Suffered internal injuries and calling for the healer was declared lost cause. Priessnitz heal itself, however, facing the cold water. Location and climate
Priessnitz spa of treatments are on the slopes of the hill Studičný vrch, about 2 km from the town of Jesenik, the northernmost tip of Moravia and Silesia.
