History
The first written mention about Lipót comes from the 1216th. The name of the village comes from the name of its first owner, who was the name Lipold. The flood in 1954 destroyed a substantial part of the city and so it was necessary to build the city anew. A significant turning point came in 1968 when it was discovered thermal springs. Springing quality and thermal hot water with the natural fundaments gave rise to a higher degree of development.
